We had the craziest week. We went to a friends house on Monday night, stayed home Tuesday night, went to church Wednesday night (we had babies and ones in nursery, a total of nine children and 5 of them cried most of the time, we ended up with 3 extra people helping us, CRAZY). Thursday night the girls and I worked at the church until after 10 preparing for our church yard sale. Friday we went to a friends house and back to church to finish setting up for the sale. We left church at about 10:20 and went to my Mom's to spend the night. We were getting ready for bed at about midnight when my sister-in-law had to go to the ER because she was in extreme pain (she is about 10 weeks pregnant). So, I went to bed with the phone and barely slept. They thought she had appendecitis, but found out it was actually a cyst on her ovary that ruptured. The good news though, is that they did an ultrasound and she got to see the baby moving around. Saturday morning we woke up at 5 AM and headed back to church for the yard sale. We stayed there until about 1:30 or 2:00, then went back to Mom's and stayed another night. Today we went to church, ate lunch at Mom's, P changed the oil in the van and we just got home. Man, I'm tired and of course off tomorrow for more fun, a birthday party at a water park.
It was crazy, but we had fun fellowshipping with our church family and meeting lots of new people. It was awesome to see some of those new people at our church this morning. God is doing some amazing things!!!

Wandering
I'm in this weird phase right now. I am happy and secure in my relationship with the Lord (of course I still have plenty of growing to do) and He is moving in my life and our family. I have been hearing from the Lord about some things as well. So, all is well in those areas. But, when it comes to the Word I feel like I'm wandering right now. Like I'm not sure what to read and when I do it doesn't feel like I'm reading the right things. Like there is no understanding and no retention. I'm having to read things multiple times. I don't know if I explained that well enough. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before and what your take on it might be. Thanks!

Labels (Categories)
I've just added Labels/Categories to my sidebar. I'm still amazed how at how much easier blogspot is to use than homeschoolblogger. It took me so much time to figure all of these things out on HSB, but here it's all laid out for you. Anyway, if you are interested in a certain subject you can click on that Label and see my posts about that subject. Right now they all begin with HSB. Those are previous posts that I have moved here from Homeschoolblogger. I am still working on moving all of the more important or more helpful ones here. As I add more posts there will be some new labels that apply to current posts. Is that as clear as mud?

Old Blog meets New and Improved Blog
In the past I had a blog on homeschoolblogger at www.homeschoolblogger.com/pretzelfamily . All of my previous posts are still there. However, I am in the process of moving the important ones here. Blogspot just seems much easier to use. So, as you check my blog be sure to check the sidebar to see if there are any new past posts.
