This is a collapsible colander that I got for Christmas. It folds flat so it doesn't take up near as much room in my cabinet. It has arms that pull out so it will rest over your sink and it's quite a bit larger, so it will hold a lot more. It holds all 5 lbs. of hamburger when I pre-brown it and still has room for more. Again, I'm a cheap-o, so I never would have just bought it for myself, but I did ask for it for Christmas and I'm so glad I did.
